To believe that the tow truck operators and drivers of Nelspruit and the rest of the country think that they are above the law. Just look at the way these birds of prey move to a accident scene. No respect for other road users. No respect for the road regulation and even the rules of the road. But try and confront one of these guys then they are easy to assault and even spit in your face. Come on metro police be on the look out its not just the taxi's that's wrong but please start to catch these road willigans too.
They are not above the law, not emergency vehicles. They there to make money and stuff the rest. They will still cause the death of other road users. Lock them up and show them that the people is stronger than what they are.

we have had new neighbours move in this last weekend into our complex and they have two trucks from a well known tow truck company - we have a slight downhill and they spent the weekend racing up and down, in and out of the complex. (obviously attending to accidents) we are all worried as they were going rather fast for a residential road and what is the emergency?? as you say, they are not an ambulance or a police vehicle so they should drive slowly until they are out of the complex and then drive like maniacs if they want on the main road. Plus those truck exhausts make a heck of a noise and we were woken up a few times this weekend by these vehiclesnoisily leaving the complex.
Does anyone know if these guys work on commission?
